The WB-TReDS Platform is an initiative of the Government of West Bengal under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) & Textiles Department to facilitate quick realization of payments through the Trade Receivables Discounting System (TReDS).
The platform supports Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, including artisans, weavers, and small producers engaged in the supply of goods and services.
By enabling digital submission of approved invoices and access to invoice discounting, the Trade Receivables Discounting System helps vendors convert invoices into immediate working capital, reducing financial stress and supporting uninterrupted production and sustainable livelihoods.
How the workflow works
- 1Seller Onboarding Begin by registering as a seller on the platform and submitting all required information and documents to complete your KYC (Know Your Customer) setup.
- 2Invoice Upload & Acceptance Digitally upload your sales invoice to the platform and ensure that the respective buyer reviews and accepts the invoice for further processing.
- 3Competitive Bidding by Financiers Various banks and NBFC financiers will place competitive bids or offers against your approved invoice, providing you with multiple financing options.
- 4Early Payment & Settlement Receive early payment from the selected financier, and the transaction is fully settled upon maturity as per the agreed terms.
